Tutorial 1 Activities#

  • Form a group of four people in the tutorial.

    • Zoom groups should allocate themselves to breakout rooms.

  • Nominate a member to take notes from your group discussion.

    • Notes (published on the forum within 24 hours of the tutorial) are necessary to get your participation mark (2% per week).

    • The note taker can rotate throughout the semester.

In your group, each person in the group should answer the following questions:

  • What is your name?

  • What degree are you doing?

Then, as a team, answer the following:

  • What are three things that you have in common? (Other than the degree you are enrolled in!)

Note

We’ll discuss these as a class, no need to post your answers for this task on the discussion forum.

Once you have been introduced to each other, each of you answer the following questions:

  • Why did you take this subject?

  • What do you expect you will learn in this subject?

  • What are your favourite robot, AI, or other computer representations in films/TV/books/manga?

  • What is your team name?
